Started in 1932, and held most years between then and now, the Bend, Oregon annual Fourth of July Pet Parade is as much fun to participate in as it is to watch. Open to everyone, residents and visitors alike, the three-quarter-mile-long parade loops through Bend’s downtown area under a Mardi Gras-like atmosphere.
